About Liberland

The Free Republic of Liberland is a virtual state and is located on a land plot on the west bank of the Danube between Croatia and Serbia. The creation of the state was announced on April 13, 2015 by the Czech right libertarian and activist Vit Jedliczka.

The goal of the state of Liberland is to create “a society where worthy people can prosper with minimal taxes and influence from the state.” The founders were inspired by countries such as Monaco and Liechtenstein
