Workplace bullying can affect any workplace, and recent research suggests that it has been experienced by many. For example, 15% of employees reported experience of bullying in the CIPD’s Managing Conflict in the Modern Workplace report, twice as many as those who reported concerns about harassment.
Bullying not only affects the individuals concerned, but can have a wider ‘knock-on’ effect across an organisation. Employees who witness or become aware of bullying can be affected in terms of their confidence and enthusiasm for work.
